Three promotions at MOBILE

Sarah Scott Ford has been promoted to Assistant Professor; Christian Prener to Assistant Professor; Urška Šadl to Professor.
We are delighted to announce that from 1 October, three of our researchers have been awarded new academic titles in recognition of their contributions to research and teaching.
Urška Šadl leads research on free movement, EU law and mobility. She teaches Institutional Constitutional Law and EU Law and supervises students working on EU and public law. Her current research project, eFree – (Gender) Gaps in EU Free Movement Law, funded by the Independent Research Fund Denmark, examines gender and social equality in EU free movement law.
Sarah Scott Ford investigates free movement in West Africa through legal theory and legal sociology. She is currently researching how courts in Senegal deal with migration, especially in cases concerning irregular stay, trafficking and smuggling. Sarah also contributes to ANCHOR, a project that aims to understand how international judgments impact asylum decisions in Denmark.
Christian Prener focuses on international law, citizenship and legal technologies. His current research project (MOVIDE) explores the intersection of mobility inequality and socioeconomic inequalities. He is also PI of legaltech innovation project Dimmi exploring how to make immigration law compliance more accessible.
Please join us in congratulating our colleagues on their well-deserved promotions.
